Within Marine Techniques  we have Marine Surveyors and Technical Specialists working around the U.K and worldwide working in both the pleasure vessel and commercial sectors.

Using our unique cloud based  Marine Claims Hub system, we are able to keep our principles updated with the progress of any claim in which we are involved.

All information pertaining to the claim is stored on the Marine Claims Hub to which the principle has access at all times. In addition our reports are written on the Marine Claims Hub thus giving uniform style of report which makes ease of reading.

Upon instigation of a claim, we make the initial contact with the insured or relevant bodies having discussed the case notes with the principle.  All calls to our office are recorded and the insured/claimant will be advised of this to comply with the Data Protection Act prior to discussing the claim.

We organise the survey and ensure the boat is at the given location, Using the Marine Claims Hub the surveyor will have all the information necessary to investigate causation against the damage sustained.

Estimates are discussed and a schedule of works is compiled where deemed necessary.
In the case of a total loss we will investigate salvage value, disposal and costs where required.

For leisure vessels our surveyors are members of the Y.D.S.A. or I.I.M.S.  Others who work in the commercial sector have relevant qualifications and a proven track record.
