On off hire / condition surveys

This survey is to identify any damage sustained to the vessel during any particular charter, An on/off hire survey covers, visible shell plating, cargo spaces, holds, weather deck, hatches and deck cranes.

In general this type of survey is carried out before the loading process begins at first docking and after the unloading at the end of the charter period.

Any new survey report is compered against the previous condition report to identify any recent damage sustained, in particular by way of the port handling processes.

Our report reflects the overall condition of the vessel and is produced in conjunction with any associated documentation and permitted images taken aboard.

There are occasions where further and more detailed inspection is required which covers: Class      certificates, engine maintenance records, systems & watertight integrity.

Loadline Surveys:

To ensure the hull of any vessel is capable if becoming watertight both at the weather deck and freeboard.

Draught surveys

In order to establish the weight of cargo a draught survey is carried out prior to or after loading / unloading

Classification surveys

These are carried out to ensure the vessel construction, meets the required standards for the issue of any essential certification for its required scope of operation.
