Ship Casualty investigations

Ship Casualty investigations

Our surveyors have extensive experience dealing with any kind of casualty, incident.

Ship accident surveys are carried out under the appointment of ships underwriters, P&I clubs, insurers, or the vessels owner. In all cases we endeavour to establish the cause of any given incident aboard affecting the crew hull and machinery, or damage sustained by third party vessel operators.

Typically this type of survey results from such incidents as groundings, fires, damage to propulsion systems, salvage issues and loading systems aboard.

We also oversee the repairs of any vessel to ensure the schedule of works is followed and to ensure costs are controlled.
