Draught surveys:
In order to establish the weight of cargo a draught survey is carried out prior to or after loading / unloading
This is carried out by measurement at six point around the vessel at six points; forward, midships and aft on both the port and starboard sides.
Loadline Surveys:
To ensure the hull of any vessel is capable if becoming watertight both at the weather deck and freeboard.
