As a national and international organisation, we will have a marine surveyor locally to you and your boat, or the boat you want to buy.
We offer a variety of marine surveying services for yachts, powerboats and commercial vessels.
We are members of the YDSA & IIMS who are the internationally recognised accredited organisations for Marine surveying .
We are open 08:00 – 20:00, six days a week.
Pre Purchase Survery
Before purchasing any boat or yacht a pre-purchase survey is always advisable. The survey is designed to give a clear opinion of the overall condition of the surveyed vessel, together with a detailed breakdown of any defects found.
Insurance Surveys
Insurance companies wish to assess risk when taking on new clients for yacht or small craft insurance, and to this end an insurance survey will frequently be required.
Tonnage surveys
We carry out tonnage surveys for vessels up to 24m in length for registration under Part 1 with the UK ship registry.
Sea Trials:
Sea trials are always recommended whenever possible especially for power vessels where the engines make up a large proportion of its value and their performance and reliability is critical.
