Classification surveys

These are carried out to ensure the vessel construction, meets the required standards for the issue of any essential certification for its required scope of operation.

Additional classification surveys are carried out when the vessel certificates have been suspended as the result of damage or is to be re classified.

We have a network of associate surveying companies around the world with whom we work closely – allowing us to arrange surveys/inspections in most locations at a reasonable cost and at short notice.

Accessibility is a feature of Marine Techniques. We can be contacted from 8 am to 8 pm six days a week. We will endeavour to answer your queries on the spot. Should the answer require some research, we will usually call you back within the hour.

Loadline Surveys:

To ensure the hull of any vessel is capable if becoming watertight both at the weather deck and freeboard.

Draught surveys

In order to establish the weight of cargo a draught survey is carried out prior to or after loading / unloading

On off hire / condition surveys

This survey is to identify any damage sustained to the vessel during any particular charter, An on/off hire survey covers, visible shell plating, cargo spaces, holds, weather deck, hatches and deck cranes.
